Modesty is totally MOD and even in this age of much vaunted girl-power, you hardly get to see a female lead with a male sidekick. It's a very good-looking action strip, but I can't quite get used to the choppy three-panel format.

Peter O'Donnell apparently also wrote Gothic romances as Madeleine Brent. ("Moonraker's Bride" is a typical title.)

DC Comics let you read it for free online, so what? The text is standard-issue noir; the bugs are over-the-board freakish. I could do without the bathtub image happily:
