fiefoeLois McMaster Bujold gave Ivan a book he deserves -- a good-humored marriage plot book that never raises one's heart rate too high. Nice to see Tej's one-hundred year old former Cetagandan grandmother being the mastermind of everything.
__ (Watching Tej's dad and the former Insec chief hustle each other is) like watching two women trying to get each other pregnant.

Rachel Hartman gives us an accomplished story about a dragon halfling and the basterd prince and her lawyer dad and her evil grandfather and her mom's box of memories. I should have found it more quotable.
