"American on Purpose"
Feb. 20th, 2011 06:21 pmAnother audiobook by a Glaswegian, but this time in a very different vein. (Gosh, after six discs, I can pretty much hear Craig Ferguson pronounce 'vein' in his Scottish accent. By the way, the accent goes a long way to make the book more interesting.)
Two episodes stayed with me:
- his redoubtable mom's previously unsuspected dream of driving across the Golden Gate Bridge while waving a scarf
- the author finding out he was a millionaire while digging parasites out of his pet's behind
