("Ender's Shadow")
Jan. 22nd, 2009 08:53 pmAt first I kept at it because I just couldn't tell whether I had read the book before or not, (a rather shameful thing to admit,) and then I stuck with it because I was waiting for something interesting to happen, something that can justify my previously unquestioned favorable impression for "Ender's Game". Eventually a little past the 2/3 point, I came to my senses and gave Orson Scott Card the heave-ho.
The silver lining - the main narrator here does the voice for Duke Leto in "Dune" (this audiobook's successor). Finding the voice rather annoying, I feel much less bad for his imminent doom.
