The previous book almost made me give up on this series, but with hindsight I can say 80% of my negative feelings was caused by the insufferable Dolores Umbridge. I'm glad that I toughed this one out, even with the knowledge that "Snape killed Dumbledore!".

J. K. Rowlings still is very good with cute touches, as with Weasley's Christmas tree angel - a trussed-up garden gnome dressed up in a tutu.
