The exhibition, 'Domains of Wonder', is well named.

<Unexpected:>
1. "Virgin and Child"    traditional border
2. "A Bengali Lady"    heavy lines, a hint of Cubism
3. "Travellers Gathered At Night"    lighting effect a la La Tour

<Vibrant:>
1. "A Fort Being Stormed"
2. "Sports of Love"    At the invitation of Krishna, village girls with peach-shaped breasts frolic in the blue river. Unusual diagonal composition with deers on the lower left corner and a lady with a water jug on her head on the opposite corner. Ten paces away, there's a painting of an palatial reenactment of this divine caper.

<'gentle mood and subtle tonality':>
1. "Buck in Landscape"   a verdant hill with a flowering peach tree
2. "Bower of Quiet Passion"     lovers and their helpers in thick foliage
3. "Ladies Watching Fireworks"    inky river on upper left corner

<Storied:>
1. "Tales of a Parrot"    a gender-reversed 'Arabian Nights'
2. Krishna's brother-in-law hitting a dice game cheater with a gold bar
3. "Asking Her to Leave Her Noisy Anklets and Go"
4. "The First Meeting of the Eye"    A girl hands a water cup to a weary traveller, neither knowing they are married. Delightful and simple play of orange, yellow and green.

<Fantastic:>
1. a cross-eyed warrior
2. winged elephants with Hercule Poirot mustaches
3. an elaborate tiger hunt with fireworks
4. a blue female ascetic
5. a kind-faced, pot-bellied high functional a white mustache in white
6. a composite elephant that looks tattooed. One foot has a rabbit's head and a turtle's legs
