fiefoeIt seems that it could be fun walking around saying 'I despise the outcome'.
The author is very meticulous in describing each game setup. He even goes to some length trying to establish some Biblical characters as rational players. (This begs the follow-up: is G-d rational?) It's refreshing to see Samson & Delilah's story summarized into a payoff matrix, and the lesson there is that it pays to nag. And, don't play in the wrong matrix. Unless, you run into 'the paradox of omniscience'.
Also found: 'Though this be madness, yet there is method in't.' (Hamlet, II, ii, 222-3)
