fiefoeThings actually got less interesting as the hero gained more and more and more power, but the initial magic/world building is quite fun to read, especially when some bits remind me of Warcraft. (Casting time, mage vs. warrior, minions, spirit/stamina...) The cooking part starts out well, but is given the short shrift as the plot broadens.
Over all, as serialized fictions go, this is very readable. I just wish the author hadn't thought so big and brought weighty things like the impending doom of the whole continent into the broth.
