A start. This is to be a blog mostly about the books I'm currently reading. The idea came to me at around 4 am, and seemed solid at that time. I guess time will tell if I can trust ideas born of those still hours.

"The Autocrat of the Breakfast-Table" by Oliver Wendell Holmes is the most promising title on my nightstand right now. It's slow going, parsing all those old-fashioned, long-winded sentences, but in small doses, it makes nice bedtime reading.

I'd almost forgotten about the sowing of dragon's teeth in Greek myth, and now it strikes me how poetic it is.
